I'm back!

My favorite part of the day would have to be when the sky slowly begins to light up. All other small lights turn off 'cause the sun is coming.

random. I'm loving this song at the moment.

.

I don't know what to think anymore. There's no point anyway. So i'll just stop. and very soon i know, i'll reach a tipping point. and all this will go away.

I don't have any regrets. Someday i know i'll get what is right for me.

*

My college friends and i hung out at Greenbelt and High Street tonight. I miss these people! After seeing each other almost everyday for 5 years in archi school, we now barely get to have the kind of conversation we used to 'cause everyone's so immersed in work. Tonight was a big de-stress. Just being with them makes me so proud of what we do. To me, they are a reminder of why i love our profession.

Tonight's Highlights:

1. Good Weizen beer at Grappa's
2. Carb overload at World Chicken

3. Checked out some furniture at Dimensione (rustic, retro, modern)

4. Found some really good books and spiffy notebooks at Fully Booked (if only i had all the money in the world...hayy)

5. Chill out at CBTL

Best 6 hours of my week!

BTW, i bought a Prat Paris notebook in brown leather (will post pictures of it soon) and a copy of YES IS MO
RE. I knew i was bound to buy something tonight so i had my eco-bag (Piggie Rootote) ready. Trying to live the green life. LOL poser! But no i really do try to reduce. Whenever i buy something and i can carry it with my two hands without too much discomfort, i don't ask for a shopping bag. And whenever i buy clothes i always ask for the smallest bag and try to squeeze everything into it. Let's all be responsible citizens of the world! Anyway (grabe super segway na) here are photos of the YES IS MORE book. (Photo credits: Dezeen.com)

I also just want to share this trailer. Mukhang fun. Imma dl soon. ohohoho pirata!

MSBF

My mom and I went plant shopping at the Manila Seedling Bank Foundation last weekend. She had been looking for small calachuchi trees for our garden
and wanted to pay the MSFB another visit. I really don't have a green thumb and neither does my mother but we love going to this place. It's cool that they've got every gardening tool you'll ever need here. Makes you think about your own green space and how you can improve it.

As i was walking around i found a narrow pathway that led to bonsai shop. Back in high school i had this obsession for bonsais. I remember thinking that when i grow old i would want to have a small green house with special misting equipment where i could keep my little trees happy. I even researched how to grow bonsai for beginners and dedicated a separate folder for all of it. LOL crazy.

Here are more pictures i took around the seedling bank. There's a
tiangge there where they sell garden plants for cheap. There's also a super huge green house where they grow herbs and spices.

I just had to take a photo of the jeans i wore that day. i really love the wash and detail
at the hemline where there's a concealed garter that hugs the ankles.
